i think overdoing scare quotes can be pretty funny.
my dumb old brain has devised a devious scheme to keep me in bed in the morning. it comes up with dreams that have little projects in them that i am under the impression must be completed before i get out of bed.
like today it was putting on some elaborate makeup to go to some exclusive club. but the trick was, the makeup was all over the place, mixed in with dirty clothes and empty aspirin bottles. like other dreams of this type, it is a project that potentially has no end, and so presumably my brain is hoping that i will stay in bed indefinitely.
