UPDATE: chad has pointed out that this makes it seem like we don't like rochester, but we do. we like it very, very, very, very much. i mean "losers" above in the most affectionate possible way. indeed, a significant aspect of my very own character and history is loserish. and in The Town That Film Built, i.e., Rochester, we've got cool movies and movie houses galore, whereas in state college the stupid cinema company went bankrupt, and yet they still show the latest tara reid movie on four screens. (in altoona, in a theater owned by this same company, we saw a movie with sound in MONO, as in it sounded like a little panasonic tape player, but that's altoona for you.)

Ha! Awesome. Champaign is a Madison wannabe. Which it will never achieve because Madison actually has water. And we make fun of Decatur. You'd know why if you'd ever been there.
