there is a "south park" episode in which cartman sees people with asses for faces. after beholding this, the funniest thing he will ever see, cartman can no longer laugh at anything. i run into things that occasionally remind me of this. below is an example. though in this case my own brain-short is also the result of the simultaneous laughter and knowledge that his ilk sometimes appear to be winning. . . .
