gendered math* on cross country skis

*not necessarily engaged in exclusively (or exclusively engaged in, for that matter) by the obvious respective gender

boy math:  here come people behind us.  they might be moving faster, and therefore think they're better than us.  we're losing.  they fell.  ha! we're winning.  here we come up on some people.  ha! they're slow.  we're winning.  but oh, they're turning into the woods.  maybe they're not slow.  maybe there're more hardcore.  we're losing.  or is it a draw?

girl math:  since i am cross-country skiing for an hour and a half, i will later have more lobster and more butter than i would have had otherwise.  good workout for the thighs, the biggest muscle in the body.  also, the core, since i'm balancing.  mm, hot chocolate.  i'm probably burning about 600 or 700 calories now, plus the speeded up metabolism for a while after. . .i'll have bread and cheese with my soup when i get home.
