ho ho ho from the OC
the heat miser, pictured at right, would be pleased: here in the OC, where my in-laws live, it's what i would call Hot. for december, anyway. basically, it is room temperature everywhere all the time, so that you don't really notice that you have moved outside unless there is no roof. which basically means that all clothing is always pretty comfy: shorts, jeans, long-sleeved shirts, short-sleeved shirts, etc. you never have to respond to the weather. something about it reminds me of being in a sensory deprivation tank. or what i would imagine they are like, anyway.

you need to go back to your dictionary. what you describe is called "southern california." "hot," by contrast, is the image of britney's shaved privates seared onto my brain. oh, it burns! ahhhhh, it's a burning fire.....sale.
