the thing is

when it comes to opining about people, it's extremely easy to judge if you haven't taken the risk yourself.  that fruit hangs so low, it's rotten.  the safer, the judgier, the more rotten.  people get PRET-ty mad (i think rightly) when their opinion on an issue is judged by someone who can't be bothered to take a stand themselves, or who think they are above it.  that's the thing (i told you i'd tell you what the thing is).  faithful readers, you know i am weary of so many things.  right now i am most weary of sneering at people who care.
