i. cannot. fracking. wait.

for this debate tonight, OMG!  i love everything about it!  i love the idea that palin will be shredded (although i'm dreading her snotty defensive willful ignorance going over well with people, although that seems to be less and less the case, including with her would-be supporters), i love the head-to-head combat (-ishness) of the debate, i love reading about the strategy of building up the opponent's skill (like, reverse trash-talking), and i love anticipating that there will be some real zingers.  i want zingers!  from everyone!  zingers all around!

i even am relishing my impending outrage at her screwing *yet another* thing up and trying to blame everyone else.  i love hating sarah palin SO MUCH.

is this why people like the superbowl?

To me this feels more like "public execution" excitement than "sporting event" excitement.…

I think people like the Super Bowl because people enjoy watching athletic performance and feats of strength. But people are excited about the debate because they want to see Palin look a fool (yet again). In which case, it seems less like the Super Bowl and more like America's Funniest Home Videos. Or The Puppy Bowl.
