note to all college students everywhere, all the time

if you do not even show your face at many (more than 20%) class meetings, do not be surprised when you get a bad grade in it.  trust me:  the class had an attendance policy, and/or things have been covered that you needed to know (logistic- or content-wise), and/or the professor doesn't even recognize your name.  duh.
