similarly, for some odd reason i refuse to buy anything liz claiborne. i'm not often tempted, but when i do see a purse or shoes or something and then see the trademark 1980s triangle, i scoff and roll my eyes. i cannot remember an incident that started this reaction, and i cannot think of any good reason for it. but it's like some weird automated response, that means nothing and goes nowhere. weird. and weirdly melodramatic.

i love to hate tjmaxx so much
i can't believe i don't write about tjmaxx here every time i go, which is about 4 or 5 times a year, usually spurred by the need for socks and/or undies. or maybe i do and i don't remember and now you're thinking, "good old elizabeth doesn't know she's totally repetitive!" but i will tell you what: one of the biggest lies perpetrated on the american woman is the idea that willi smith is like some kind of brand or designer. it's tjmaxx's proprietary brand! tell your friends. why does it drive me cuckoo when i'm there, to reach for an item i think is kind of cute, only to find out it's willi smith? i have no idea. but i pull my hand away as though burnt when i see that tag.

it's enough to make one go cuckoo bananas. and while i appreciate your underhanded sales pitch for cocoapuffs, i have to say re: your previous post--but hey, you're the one who used "cuckoo" again in this one--that Joe Lieberman is oohfm.
dude, you know it was those devil legends when you were in catholic school. and also? you have not, to my recollection, blogged about tjmaxx, but you have in fact used the phrase "biggest lie perpetrated on women" before, only that one was about catching crabs from toilet seats. heh.
