but i just wanted to point out that when democrats have marital dalliances, it's usually just plain old fashioned adultery, but when republicans dally, it's usually something just as old fashioned but a bit more deviant, like homosexuality and/or prostitution. i am of course considering bill clinton and john edwards versus mark foley, larry craig and david vitter here, but of course we have eliot spitzer to consider, too.
anyway, i do happen to think that the fear, loathing, parsimony and resentment that i associate with the republican party are compensatory mechanisms. it's very norman o. brown of me to say so, but political positions often seem to be psycho-sexual expressions. also? john edwards is in fact extraordinarily handsome.
p.s. i just found out that bernie mac died, and that is sad. i thought he was really funny.
