super duper duper fun

wedding of a dear friend of 20 years. fun and hilarity in a stunningly beautiful setting on a glacial lake in olympic national park. a whole weekend of it. the bride was no bridezilla. (nor bride kong.) up very late being loud and drinking a lot around a bon fire. and OK, OK, i'll admit it, even though i am modest and shy: i (as a member of the wedding party) gave a very well received toast that got lots of laughs in all the right places. and i sure do love my good old funny smart-assy friend and her new husband big big bunches. i sure do like knowing--and, more importantly, actually really really liking (which is a li'l different from loving)--people i've known since high school freshmen year.
