i saw a conservative kick a kitten on the way to work today, and when i yelled to stop him, we ended up having a "conversation" about the state of the union address. of course, conservatives don't ever care what anyone else thinks, since they're too busy blindly driving whatever agenda their leaders dictate, no matter how moronic or impractical. but i forced this one to listen. this specimen of ugliness and humorlessness in particular seemed to be too busy trying to come up with new ways to give rich people tax breaks to listen, though. they really love the rich, these guys, and aren't happy unless their bending over backwards to kiss their asses.
anyway, you just know that conservatives were upset that augusto pinochet's death didn't coincide with, say, gerald ford's so they could camouflage their mourning.
bush's capitulatory "state of the union," or as i call it, "tail-between-the-legs posturing", of course, left out some significant things. but are we surprised that he took the opportunity to further neglect the poor black citizens of the american gulf region? no, we are not. and bush can't do away with them as easily as he was able to do away with all those retarded inmates in texas prisons. if only it were illegal to be poor, right george?
i let this kitten-kicking conservative go on his way to his brokerage, so he could rub his hands and cackle with his cronies about the joys of keeping people disenfranchised, sick and poor, while figuring out ways to convince them it's their own fault for their condition. that loser alfred-p-newman-lookalike fratboy has ruined the country.

Ha!
By coincidence, I just read the NYT review of Coulter's ex-boyfriend Dinesh D'Souza's new "book":
"Like his hero Joe McCarthy, he has no sense of shame. He is a childish thinker and writer tackling subjects about which he knows little to make arguments that reek of political extremism. His book is a national disgrace. . ."
I didn't see any kittens, but this maybe as much as we can expect.
i had trouble getting past the kitten-kicking part of the story.
gawd... of all the trauma...
