recent successes

i can't do a non-list blog post.

-after several misfires, i made delicious and authentic-tasting tom yum soup!!  nothing like a hideous cold to motivate culinary innovation (it's shockingly delicious and nourishing-feeling when sick).

-purchase of a brilliant product:  substance that is both  hand lotion and hair product!!

-the writers' strike is over!!!  bring on the "house" and the "the office" and earl, etc., etc. etc.  though i think it's going to take quite a while to get everything back in gear.  but still.  how awesome that the little guy got some of his interests looked out for.
