personal choice FAIL

i am a big fan of this new FAIL discourse, which i believe is taken from the FAIL blog, and in which the word "FAIL" (in all caps) follows a noun. this noun, often (but not always) an abstract concept or gerund, by getting written into FAIL discourse, is implied to be in dramatic and hilarious existential crisis. it's all stuff that veers from what it's supposed to do by definition.

less poignantly but more pervasively than many of the FAILs on the blog, this state of Whoria (get it?) in which we now live has FAILed in the realm of whimsy and identity, by allowing vanity license plates on cars for free. every other fool on the road advertises, all the time to everyone, who loves them or who they love or how fun and zany they are or where they work or what institution they are most loyal to. it's really ridiculous and frankly embarrassing.

that said, as we get ready to register our vehicle, i would like to take advantage of this and fail in my own personal way. here's some options:
