- cool and super fun city
- no pressure to have interviews or try to make great impressions because it's not really my field; i'm just on the edge of it
- old and dearly loved (and sorely missed, especially now that i am out in the big wide world all by my little self) friends from grad school galore
- delicious food
- meeting new fun and interesting people
- delivering a paper that didn't totally suck
- finding someone to fill out a panel i've been having a helluva time putting together
- catching up on gossip
- learning things
in answer to my titular question: nothing. there is nothing more.
