well, i'll tell you: that i have good instincts about negative things.* when i doubt some person or situation, it always, 100% of the time, turns out that there's something wrong, and not with me.**

**i really hate the practice of telling kids they have to be nice, or that if they can't say something nice they shouldn't say anything at all. it undermines their sense of trust in themselves, and now that i'm the ripe old age of 35, i am realizing that trust in yourself is about the best possible thing to have. which i do, which, just to reiterate, is the best thing about me.
