i overheard your friends talking, and they cannot make it to your wedding, but are nevertheless going to invite you to their wedding. they hope that you do not feel obligated to buy them a gift; nevertheless they are going to send you one. also, all of this took them fifteen minutes to work out.

One in ten thousand.
since John from Canada is from Canada, it stands to reason that he's getting gay-married. which does not merit a gift, as I understand it.
