look, i already hated carpeting to begin with. but then you had to foment that hatred by having big dark mysterious splotches, plus by being ugly. and now it turns out you were hiding lovely dark wood floors. i know people put you there to help with insulation, but we are going to accomplish that with rugs that do not trap moisture, as you did. your trapped moisture has led to mold, which has led to me having a constantly running nose and lots of sneezing in the morning. there is nothing grosser than moldy carpeting and moldy carpet padding. furthermore, i worry that your particular mildew is hallucinogenic and nothing i take for granted is real. i vanquish thee!

So, possibly the people at your institution whom you thought were evil/crazy/po-bo/etc., aren't?
