-to me, irish pride (say, of the sort celebrated en masse on st. patrick's day) is a seemingly benign version of racism that just happens to be socially accepted. a bunch of white people celebrating being some vaguely victimized version of being white? come on.
-my prediction is that the fat, bearded, long-haired guy who works at the kroger and who was bragging about being crazy is never, ever, ever going to have sex.
-i think that when people say of a woman that she is "honest" or "outspoken," it's not meant as a compliment. when they claim to want to be around/be friends with/hire an outspoken woman, this is in fact not true.
-i have put a curse on the yoga teacher who gave me shit when i asked her to turn on the fans during class. come on.
